How did we get the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit)

Have you ever wondered where the Spirit of Elohim came from and how we receive it???

Imagine if you had a friend that all of a sudden HE said HE was the Messiah. If this happened you probably wouldn’t believe that friend but you would at least have to admit that friend was a very good person and had a huge heart to giveRuach haKodesh himself up for everybody else who was sinning. Now imagine if that friend was challenged by the entire world’s top Biblical teachers to prove he wasn’t really the Messiah and they could find no fault in HIM. Lastly, imagine that friend walked from town to town performing miracles and fulfilled prophecy from the Old Testament. You would eventually come to the realization that your friend was the Messiah. You would then have a tangible person to believe in. Heck, the Messiah’s own brother James struggled with the fact that our Messiah was real. Now fast forward over 2000+ years. We have no tangible product to believe in or do we? Yes we do. We have the Ruach HaKodesh known to Christianity as the Holy Ghost. The Spirit is our tangible product. It is through the Spirit that we can believe and have Faith. In fact John states it is better to have Faith and believe that to have the tangible product and believe (John 20:29).  That Salvation is by Faith in HIM. Believing in HIM is easy to do but having Faith is harder. The Bible states that even Demons believed in HIM as stated in James 2:19. Take notice to that James verse that it mentions the demons believe but they didn’t have Faith.  If our Messiah was tangible, all would believe and have Faith. We will tell you that once you open up and allow HIS light into your life HE becomes tangible through HIS “Ruach HaKodesh“.

HE gave us that “Set Apart Spirit” at Pentecost or Shavu’ot (Feast of Weeks). Imagine that!!! HE gave us something through one of HIS commanded Feasts!!! It is often taught that the Spirit was given to us 50 days after Passover and the Torah was given to the people 50 days after Passover???  In Leviticus we are told to “COUNT THE OMER” which is a count of 49 days between Passover and Shavu’ot.

Leviticus 23:15-16 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord

Remember that Yahweh does everything through his Feast Days. It is often argued that HE gave us Torah and Set Apart Spirit during same times. HE was sacrificed during Passover as the Final Sacrifice.  HE gave us the Ruach HaKodesh at Shavo’ut/Feast of Weeks/Pentecost.  Pentecost is a Greek word that means fifty. The current count by Christianity is from Easter, then Count the Omer (50 days after Passover/Easter), then we have Pentecost. If you wonder if we still have to do this then the bigger issue you should worry about is why Christianity has replaced Passover with Easter. Even during the 1st Century, Paul wrote the Church to make sure they were following the commands which include the Feast Days. Here are three verses about Pentecost (Feast of Weeks).

Acts 2:1-4; 1 Corinthians 16:8; Acts 20:16.. They all show it was celebrated.
