Matthew 5:30 (Removing Sin from our lives)

Matthew 5:30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

Here we have Matthew showing us to try to remove as much sin as you can from your life.  Remember, we are told to KEEP HIS Commands and to never throw away HIS Torah.  In this verse we are shown that if your hand causes you to stumble then you should cut it off.  Right before this verse, Matthew tells us to gouge out our eye if it causes us to stumble and throw it out (Matthew 5:27).  How much clearer does he have to be?  He states that if something is causing us to sin then we have to remove it from our lives.  If we follow along in this belief we will work towards eliminating sin our entire lives as sin will always try to sneak its way in.  It’s a battle that will forever keep us strong in our Faith to HIM.  The only thing HE commands is to have Faith and follow HIS commands.  Don’t believe the hype that there are only ten commands.  We state this all the time but there are over 600+ commands in the Old Testament and 1050+ commands in the new and we are to follow them all.  Just thinking of doing something that would be considered a sin if physically done is sinning according to HIM as stated here (Matthew 5:28).

We can guarantee this.  When we think bad thoughts, those thoughts are not coming from HIM.  If we have Faith and HE has given us the Rauch HaKodesh (Holy Spirit/Set Apart Spirit) then those thoughts are not from us either.  Any bad thought you think comes from the advisary and believe us, we work hard to close our ears to the advisary on a daily basis.

Matthew 6:14 (How often should we forgive people)

Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Have you ever sat back and realized just how much forgiveness our Messiah gives us?  Have you ever sat back and realized that over and over again, HE continues to give us second chances?  Not only have we realized it but we also practice it.  How often do we get angry with people for something they did and never take the time to forgive them.  We must remember that we can not willfully sin against HIM though (Hebrews 10:26).  We must always remember to show mercy just as HE shows mercy to us.  If everybody in this world would have as much compassion as our Messiah has for us, we would never have evil amongst us  Now we know there are some verses that says the wrong doer must ask for forgiveness before we forgive as in this verse (Luke 17:3-4).  We feel that we don’t even need them to ask us to forgive them.  Who are we to decide their intentions behind the sin.  We don’t always know the motivation but we feel it is better to “take the high road”.  Just forgive them in the same way our Messiah forgives us (Matthew 18:21).  We don’t need to turn our backs on people just because they wronged us.  We don’t have to give up on people just because they sinned against us.  We just have to realize that those people are Yahweh’s people too.  They are flawed just like we are flawed and we have to work on ourselves before we start trying to work on the sins of others around us (Matthew 7:5).  Nobody in this world is perfect and we always must remember we need HIM to lead us.  We must remember it is not our privilege to forgive others; it is our duty.

What does Deuteronomy Mean???

Here’s a fact that not many people know or even thought to look up. The book of Devarim in the Old Testament derived its name from two separate Greek words. Deutero (2nd in Greek) and Nomos (Law in Greek). The Hebrew word Devarim is what Deuteronomy was truly called and in Hebrew it means (these are the words) but got incorrectly translated to mean 2nd Law.

Does this mean Yahweh gave us a 2nd Law to follow? Nope, it means HE reiterated the Law they already new. What Law did they know? The Law given to them that was already in affect long before Mosheh gave them to the people. Noah knew laws, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob knew the Law..etc…..

Deuteronomy was the book Mosheh wrote while he was dying. Sort of like a dying father, telling his children his last words. Mosheh did not get to go into the promised land. Could you imagine that he literally saved Yahweh’s chosen people from bondage, led them out of Egypt, put them in front of the entrance to the promised land and when he got there he had to sit back and realize he wasn’t going any further?

Deuteronomy is Mosheh appealing to his people with heart felt conviction in hope that they would follow all of Yahweh’s commands given to them. That is why Mosheh lists the 10 commandments again. The “basics” if you will.  Mosheh never once says there are only 10 commandments and he never said we only have to follow 10 commandments. The Israelites already knew ALL OF THE COMMANDS. They were given the commands in Genesis, Exodus, and Leviticus, and a few in Numbers… They received them from Mosheh because he was the intermediary the Israelites requested as the Israelites were afraid to talk to Yahweh directly. Mosheh knew during his dying days that the future of the Nation of Israel, called the children, rested on their acceptance of Yahweh’s Law given to him.  Mosheh knew the Israelites had to hear the message one more time in shortened form as he was running out of time to teach.  They just spent 40 years in the desert while Mosheh tried to convince them of Yahweh’s promise.  At this point it was imperative that Mosheh spent his dying days giving Yahweh’s promise to the people one more time.

Acts 15:19-21 (What is expected from Gentile Converts)

Well, this probably isn’t going to be what you were taught.  Again, we have to look at the context of what is being said.  According to Luke, this verse has to do with Gentile Converts and what was expected of them.  (Acts 15:19-21).  What was decided at this point was not what you think.  Luke wasn’t saying that the Gentile’s didn’t have to follow Torah. The Jerusalam Council decided that the Gentiles converts did not have to take on the full weight of the man-made laws of the Sages in order to be accepted within the Jewish community.  He was saying that they were required to put down the very Pagan practices that were being performed that Yahweh hated.  They were told they couldn’t continue on in those ways.  We will post the whole verse for a reference point but keep in mind that even Yahweh didn’t command anyone to follow the man-made Law.

Acts 15: 19 “Therefore, my opinion is that we should not put obstacles in the way of the Goyim who are turning to God. 20 Instead, we should write them a letter telling them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from fornication, from what is strangled and from blood. 21 For from the earliest times, Moshe has had in every city those who proclaim him, with his words being read in the synagogues every Shabbat.

The reason that was even talked about is because, during those times, the Jewish people where imposing their own man-made law onto Gentiles and Yahweh never said that should be done.  Our own Messiah came to expose that man-made law so HIS Torah could be reestablished.  We are often taught this verse to show that we, as Gentiles, aren’t required to follow HIS Torah.  Well, we know this is not true.  HIS Torah will set you free.  Man’s law will imprison you.

You might be saying, “What are you talking about”.  Well, let’s look at the last part of that verse.  It says: For from the earliest times, Moshe has had in every city those who proclaim him, with his words being read in the synagogues every Shabbat.”  This last part of that verse is our clue into what was being said.  It is basically saying that Mosheh has had followers all throughout time that taught and still teach in the Synagogues every Sabbath.  We are being shown that we shouldn’t worry that the Gentiles won’t become Torah observant because once they start coming to Temple they will learn HIS Torah and follow its commands.  What is truly being said is to not completely turn away all the hopeful converts with a bunch of rules because they are so far from Yahweh they won’t even listen.  Luke was telling them to demand the Gentiles do a few basic things at first and then when they come to learn in the Temple, they will then learn the Torah and follow it as Yahweh and Yeshua commands.  That is why it says that from the beginning of times, there are followers of Mosheh that TEACH in the Temple on Sabbath.  Those followers were there to teach new converts and believers to follow Torah as we are commanded to do as shown here in Acts.

Acts 13:42-52   As they went out, the people begged that these things might be told them the next Sabbath. And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God. The next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began to contradict what was spoken by Paul, reviling him. And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles. For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
“‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
    that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed. And the word of the Lord was spreading throughout the whole region.  But the Jews incited the devout women of high standing and the leading men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district. But they shook off the dust from their feet against them and went to Iconium. And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit .

Notice that the new Converts were being taught the Torah on the Sabbath.

Quick tidbit:  We used the term Gentile a few times just so most can understand whom is being talked about.  The word Gentile never appears in the Bible. (really, it doesn’t…Go GOOGLE it and see..crazy huh?)  The word orginally used was from the Hebrew word Goy, or Goyim.  This just means “other nation/nations that weren’t Israelites.  Makes you wonder why most Christians say, “I am a Gentile, I don’t have to follow those Old Rules”….  EVERYONE is a Gentile unless you are a blood descendant and if you look around today, many practicing Jews no longer follow Yahweh’s Torah The word Gentile/Gentiles comes from a Latin word which basically means “ONE WHO IS NOT A ROMAN CITIZEN.” It originally meant Family/Clan in Latin.  It was an attempt to translate the word Goy or Goyim using their own language which in return loses it’s meaning when translated to English.  If you use the word correctly, then you would have to say that Yeshua and His twelve disciples were all Gentiles, because none of them were a Roman Citizen.  Ahhh…but Paul would not be a Gentile then because he was a Roman citizen…  Whoooooops… Got off on a tangent again.

Living a Clean Life – Psalm 119:1-44

Many teach that following commands is considered burdensome.  When they speak about it they teach the commands from the Old Testament were burdensome.  Well, here is a verse from the Old Testament in which the author, thought to be David, had no problems teaching the commands.  In fact, he prays in DELIGHT of following them and hopes Yahweh will teach him how to follow them even more.  It is the longest Psalm of the all.

Psalm 119:1-44
Blessed are the perfect in the way,
Who walk in the teaching of Yahweh
2 Blessed are those who observe His witnesses,
Who seek Him with all the heart!
3 Yea, they shall do no unrighteousness;
They shall walk in His ways.
4 You have commanded us
To guard Your orders diligently.
5 Oh, that my ways were established
To guard Your laws!
6 Then I would not be ashamed,
When I look into all Your commands.
7 I thank You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn the right-rulings of Your righteousness.
8 I guard Your laws;
Oh, do not leave me entirely!
9 How would a young man cleanse his path.
To guard it according to Your word?
10 I have sought You with all my heart;
Let me not stray from Your commands!
11 I have treasured up Your word in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.
12 Blessed are You, O Yahweh!
Teach me Your laws.
13 With my lips I have recounted
All the right-rulings of Your mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your witnesses,
As over all riches.
15 I meditate on Your orders,
And regard Your ways.
16 I delight myself in Your laws;
I do not forget Your word.
17 Do good to Your servant,
Let me live and I guard Your word.
18 Open my eyes, that I might see
Wonders from Your Torah.
19 I am a sojourner in the earth;
Do not hide Your commands from me.
20 My being is crushed with longing
For Your right-rulings at all times.                                                                                                                                                                   21 You rebuked the proud, cursed ones,
Who are straying from Your commands.
22 Remove from me reproach and scorn,
For I have observed Your witnesses.
23 Though princes sat, speaking against me,
Your servant meditates on Your laws.
24 Your witnesses also are my delight,
My counsellors.
25 My being has been clinging to the dust;
Revive me according to Your word.
26 I have recounted my ways and You answered me;
Teach me Your laws.
27 Make me understand the way of Your orders;
That I might meditate on Your wonders.
28 My being has wept from grief;
Strengthen me according to Your word.
29 Remove from me the way of falsehood,
And favour me with Your Torah.
30 I have chosen the way of truth;
Your right-rulings I have held level.
31 I have clung to Your witnesses;
O Yahweh, do not put me to shame!
32 I run the way of Your commands,
For You enlarge my heart.
33 Teach me, O Yahweh, the way of Your laws,
And I observe it to the end.
34 Make me understand, that I might observe Your Torah,
And guard it with all my heart.
35 Make me walk in the path of Your commands,
For I have delighted in it.
36 Incline my heart to Your witnesses,
And not to own gain.
37 Turn away my eyes from looking at falsehood,
And revive me in Your way.
38 Establish Your word to Your servant,
Which leads to the fear of You.
39 Turn away my reproach which I dread,
For Your right-rulings are good.
40 See, I have longed for Your orders;
Revive me in Your righteousness.
41 And let Your kindnesses come to me, O Yahweh;
Your deliverance, according to Your word,
42 So that I answer my reprover,
For I have trusted in Your word.
43 And do not take away from my mouth
The word of truth entirely,
For I have waited for Your right-rulings;
44 That I might guard Your Torah continually,
    Forever and ever;

This brings us to this point.  Notice that this verse says we should guard the Torah continually FOREVER AND EVER.  We MUST quit believing what has been taught over the last 2000+ years that tells us to put down the Old Testament, burdensome Law, and only worry about Faith.  If we have FAITH we will have His Torah written in our hearts.  It is there, we promise you that.  If you have read this far into our post, you are seeking the TRUTH.  The TRUTH can only do one thing and that is SET YOU FREE.  We here at Biblical Truth feel FREE.  We try our best to walk in HIS commands and follow things that Christianity teaches are only for the JEWS.  We can’t force you to open up.  We don’t even know how we opened up to HIM.  We still struggle everyday with putting down traditions of men and following His precepts.  In order to truly see, feel, and hear HIS voice you just have to open up to allow it to lead you.  It will go against what we have been taught by man and his tradition.  It won’t be easy to let go of all this tradition.  It won’t feel normal until you realize that going against HIS commands is exactly what the entire Bible teaches us not to do.

2 Corinthians 11:2-3 (Marriage Metaphor)

2 Corinthians 11:2-3  2 For I am jealous for you with a jealousy according to Elohim (GOD). For I gave you in marriage to one husband, to present you as an innocent maiden to Messiah. 3 But I am afraid, lest, as the serpent deceived Ḥawwah (EVE) by his trickery, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Messiah.

In our everyday lives we are always being pulled by the advisary to stray from Yahweh’s commands. This is even more evident in a marriage situation. The advisary knows that the best way to infiltrate society is through the dismantling of a marriage bond. Marriage is the very thing that the advisary hates the most. Two people, devoted to each other for life with love for one another that is impenetrable . If we put our guard down it doesn’t take long for the advisary to go to work on us. The whole Bible is a marriage. It is a marriage between us (The Bride) and HIM (The Bridegroom). If you let HIM into your life and let HIM lead you, you won’t be disappointed. HIS commands are simple as stated above. HIS commands are not burdensome. They are put in place to bring you blessings. They are put in place to show us how to live a “clean’ life.

Revelation 19:7 “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared herself.”

We are the “wife” in the above Revelations verse. We are supposed to prepare ourselves for HIM to come. Preparing means to follow HIS commands..

Noah (How did Noah know DIETARY LAW before Moses)

How did Noah know what Yahweh’s Dietary Law was and it wasn’t presented to the people until Moses went to Mt. Sinai which happened after Yahweh flooded the earth. We must look into the scriptures to find our answer. If all scripture is breathed by Elohim and some scripture was actually written by HIM, then it isn’t hard to understand. Some believe Moses transplanted his knowledge system of Judaism into the scriptures and that it was a “cultural” thing that had to due with which foods caused illnesses. If we look at the scriptures, Noah knew that Yahweh considered animals either clean or unclean. Moses told us in Genesis 7:2-3 how many of each clean and unclean animal to take on the Ark. We have others studies on this subject that you should check out sometime. Quick tid bit: The Rainbow is a covenant sign with Noah in which Yahweh promised to never flood the earth again…

Hebrews 11:6 (Truly Believing in HIM)

Hebrews 11:6 But without belief it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to Elohim has to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.

BELIEVE and HE will reward you. It may not be monetary, it may not be physical but someway and somehow you will be rewarded. We were rewarded not to long ago when we got to see the expression and excitement on the face of a child in need that we gave a shirt to. ONE SIMPLE SHIRT. The child replied “thanks, this is gonna be soooo warm”. It was a light weight shirt that had no capability of keeping that child warm but in our opinion our Messiah filled that child with hope. It didn’t matter if that shirt was tissue paper, in that child’s mind it was new and exciting….. We don’t believe in telling when we give but when you run a webpage and people look for guidance, it is mandatory that some stories are told.

Matthew 6:3-4 3 “But when you do a kind deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your kind deed shall be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret shall Himself reward you openly..

We do absolutely nothing to Glorify us!!! We do everything to Glorify HIM. What comes from us comes from HIM. Without HIM we wouldn’t have the ability to give. Without HIM we die with no promise of eternal life. That is our reward; ETERNAL LIFE…. When you search our site or read our posts you will never see our names. If you are friends with us on Facebook you know who we are but we aren’t here to be “KNOWN”. We are here to help children in need. We post our information and research so those that want to learn have a resource to help them. Our purpose is for the kids though.

The Cross (This may SHOCK you)

We will tell you though that we DO NOT wear crosses. It symbolizes death and pre-dates Christianity. It started long ago in Babylon. It can be traced back to be a symbol of Tammuz.

Now before you get upset, please open your mind and look at it through HIS eyes. Over the last 2000 years we have adopted the practice of displaying Crosses as a way of symbolizing our Faith in Yeshua. We have adopted a Man-Made Tradition that goes against HIS commands to avoid symbols. According to the Scriptures, HE doesn’t even want them in our homes. Let’s look at it like this. The Cross symbolizes the most brutal slaughter of a human being possible. It was a brutal and torturous way to kill our Messiah. HE suffered deeply. There were much easier ways for our Messiah to die. If you search deep enough into the Scriptures you will find that our Messiah wasn’t truly “hung on a cross”; it was more like a tree. These trees were used by the Romans to kill people long before Yeshua died on one. The tree was used as the ULTIMATE disgrace to the worst criminals of those times. It was used as a display to warn other criminals of the consequences of their crime. If you look close enough you will find that many of the things you were taught about the cross never appear in the Bible. There is not one instance anywhere that shows any of Yeshua‘s followers wore a symbol of Death after HE was sacrificed. Some quote Mark 8:34 as a way of proving it is okay to wear a cross or have one in the home.

Let’s look at it another way. The Holocaust was the single most horrific time in the life of the Jewish people. We all know how evil that time was. Do you think it would be okay to wear a Nazi symbol around your neck in remembrance of the Jewish people who were killed during that time. You might be saying this is a huge stretch and how could we even compare the two. In today’s society the Nazi symbol is a horrid thing and every single person knows its meaning. Well, if you let 2000+ years go by and somebody comes along and teaches us that wearing a Nazi symbol is the right thing to do in rememberance of the Genocide that occured against the Jewish People, then it would become a Tradition!!! Let 2000+ years go by and it could evolve into a symbol that becomes a memorial symbol to society. The wearer of the symbol will believe they are remembering the lost lives and have their heart in the right place but it goes against HIS commands to avoid symbols. The Cross is the exact same thing. It has become a memorial symbol of the worst day in Christianity. Again, keep an open mind. It isn’t about what it means to YOU. It’s all about what it means to HIM. Do you wear a symbol of a Manger around your neck to symbolize HIS birth???

You may wonder how we can display our Faith in Yeshua??? According to the scriptures people will know our Elohim by how we live our lives. They can see that the Ruach HaKodesh lives inside of us. We are told in 2 Thessalonians 2:15 to “stand firm” and hold to the traditions the Bible teaches not what man teaches. Wearing symbols is what man has taught us not Yahweh and not Yeshua.
