Does Faith get us into Heaven

Does Faith alone get us into the Kingdom? We know HE says we are saved by Grace and that Faith is what we must have. Does this mean we can be disobedient and not follow HIS LAW because it got nailed to the cross??? Let’s go back and look at the beginning.

When the Israelites where let out of Egypt, Yahweh (God) promised to send death to the 1st born Male child of the Egyptians. He then gave a command!!!

Exodus 12:23 Take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and touch the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. 23 For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you.

FOLKS!!! CHECK THAT OUT!!! Read again and look at what happened. We all know they had FAITH but they were also given a command. If the Israelites did not have belief that Faith includes obedience then they would not have put the blood on the doorpost. We know they did believe in HIM and they had Faith in HIM but they were not saved on their Faith alone, they were saved on their obedience through their Faith to the command of putting blood on the doorpost. They didn’t base their salvation on the fact that they believed because the LAMB was SLAIN!!! Get that??? If they would have just said “We have Faith HE won’t harm us” and failed to put the blood on the door posts their 1st born male sons would have been consumed.

Our Lamb has been slain. HIS name was HaMashiach Yeshua = The Messiah of Salvation. We can’t and shouldn’t base our belief in salvation because the LAMB was slain. We should base our belief in salvation by our Faith and OBEDIENCE to HIS Torah (Law).

How powerful is that? Did you see that just as we did? In the beginning they all had to have Faith. The entire Old Testament tests their Faith over and over again and yet they were Faithfully obedient to HIS commands and not just 10 of them.

Is all sin equal?

We had a brief discussion last night with family about sin and if there were different levels of sin.  We, through our research, do believe that there are different levels of sin.  All sin is sin but some sin is worse than other sin.  This does not mean it is okay to do any of them.  Matthew 18:5-6, Matthew 10:14-15, Luke 10:13-14,  and Mark 3:28-30 are just a few verses that show that doing some sin is much greater than other sin.  There are also the sins that HE calls abominations.  Not every sin committed is in that category but we feel these are sins that HE feels we should be especially aware of not doing.  Again, we are not stating doing any sin is okay.

Then we came across this verse:

1 John 5:16   If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life—to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death.

We find it very interesting that many are taught that all sin is equal.  We believe that all sin is not equal.  While the sin itself will still be judged some sins just aren’t as bad as others.  Again, we need to state that no sin is good.  It’s as if we are taught that murdering another human is the same as getting in a fight.  It’s would be like teaching that raping another human is the same as stealing a lawn mower.  We believe HE clearly states what sins are considered to be of a harsher consequence than others.

John 13:34 New Command

Many teach that this next command is something new.

John 13: 34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”

Does anybody truly believe that loving each other and having Faith is a new concept?  Well we took a look into the Old Testament to see if Yahweh (God) commanded us to love each other in HIS Torah (1st Five Books of Old Testament). Let’s look at just a few Scriptures:

Leviticus 19: 18 “You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am YHWH (God)”

Leviticus 19: 34 “The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am the YHWH (God) your Elohim.”

Deuteronomy 10: 18 “So show your love for the alien, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.”

As you can see this so called “NEW COMMAND” is not so new at all.  What you are seeing is that it is the first time Yeshua (Jesus) spoke it to HIS disciples.  Another note to take is that so many believe that Yeshua (Jesus) was loving and Yahweh (God) was mean.  NOT TRUE!!!  They are the same Spirit having the same character.  As you can see, the next verses talk about the same thing but they even state the command came  from the beginning.

2 John 1:5-6: “Now I ask you, lady, not as though I were writing to you a new commandment, but the one which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.”

When you read something that says “from the beginning”, it is referring to HIS Torah (1st Five Books of Old Testament).  Those 1st Five books are divine instructions to us for moral living.  NOW take notice of the next verses.  John states once again loving your neighbor and each other has been around forever.

1 John 2:7-8: “Beloved, I am not writing a new commandment to you, but an old commandment that you have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word that you have heard. On the other hand, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining.”

The only thing that has changed is we now have our Messiah.  The commands have always been there since the beginning but now they are truly understood through HaMashiach Yeshua (Messiah of Salvation) as HE is the Light of the world.  Why do so many teach we no longer have to follow the Torah (HIS Divine Instructions=Law=1st Five books of Old Testament)?  Our belief is the enemy has infiltrated the Church to steer us away from Yahweh (God) and HIS perfect Son Yeshua (Jesus=Spirit come in the Flesh).  In return this “off path” life steers us in the wrong directions, often leading us way far away from HIM.  The Torah (Divine Instructions = 1st Five Books of Old Testament) points us to moral living and towards our Messiah and when HE came he pointed us back to it, always teaching from it and quoting it.  So we had Yahweh (God) pointing us towards it.  All the Prophets pointing us towards it and our own Messiah pointing us towards it.  Why throw it out?

Romans 1:2

Did the “New Covenant” do away with the “Old Covenant”?  We have some studies that shows it didn’t.  Here is a pretty direct statement through Paul in Romans.

Romans 1:2  1 Paul, a servant of HaMashiach Yeshua , called to be an apostle, SET APART for the gospel of Yahweh , which he promised beforehand through his PROPHETS in the sacred text, concerning his Son, wh…o was descended from David according to the flesh  and was declared to be the Son of Elohim in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, HaMashiach Yeshua our Elohim, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the OBEDIENCE of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations, including you who are called to belong to Yeshua.

SO basically this says we as believers, like Paul, are called by HIM and “SET APART” to be OBEDIENT in our FAITH for HIS sake.  WE are supposed to be an example to all people.  We are not SET APART to become a huge religion, throw out HIS Torah and do things our way.  We are SET APART for the sake of HIS name and we are to obey ALL HIS commands.

Now look at this:  Psalm 106:7-8  Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.  Yet he saved them for HIS NAME’S SAKE,  that he might make known his mighty power.

HE has continually been saving us for HIS NAME’S SAKE since we came out of Egypt.  It’s our duty to return the favor.  Now is the time, not later.

Counting the Omer

OmerYou may be wondering what “Counting the Omer” is all about.    “Counting the Omer” is a count of the 50 days following the 1st Sabbath after the 3rd day of Pesach/Feast of Unleavened Bread that ends on Shavuot; yes it’s commanded. So to make this less confusing let’s start with Pesach, then count 3 days into the Feast of Unleavened Bread known as the day of First Fruits (Yeshua was the 1st Harvest for YHVH).  From that point we wait until the Sabbath (day of rest) arrives and the next day we start “Counting the Omer”.  It commemorates the day when he gave HIS believers the Ruach haKodesh. In the Greek language (Pente=50 & Cost=day). So literally the 50th day “after” the count started, which is the same as the counting 49 days (command is to count 7 Sabbaths) from the start of the count and then celebrate the commanded Feast Day the next day which is the 50th day (Leviticus 23:15-16).

Even though this celebration is called Feast of Weeks in English it doesn’t mean it is for a week.  It is a one day Feast celebration.  Notice the number 7 comes into this picture in the beginning of this command.  In the Hebrew, 7 is shevah. It is from the root  savah, to be full or satisfied, have enough of. 7 is a Messianic number tied to Yeshua.  By giving us the Ruach HaKodesh after we count 7 Sabbaths, HE satisfied us.  Not only is it the day we received the Ruach haKodesh,  legend has it that it is the exact day that Mosheh gave the Torah to the people at Mt. Sinai. Through our research we do not believe there is proof that is when the Torah was given to the people at Mt. Sinai but we also realize that everything Yahweh does revolves around HIS Feast Days so it could be true; we will teach the Torah part of this as not factual but plausible.  All we need to know is that on that day HE gave us a Helper as promised and that Helper is there to guide us.

To our young boys

From the day you were born we knew you both were kind
We love how you’ve both grown and kept God on your mind
You’re children born of God and HE will always be there
To protect you during your life when life doesn’t seem fair
Always follow the guiding voice you will hear in your head
It is the voice of TRUTH and pray to HIM before you go to bed
There will be some that come along and try to lead you astray
But follow in HIS path and that is where you should stay
HE will hear your prayers and please don’t ever forget
To thank HIM for everything you have and erasing your debt
Eventually there will come a time that we are no longer around
Remember the lessons we gave about God and you will be found
There will be times in your life that the world’s people will judge
Remember to follow all HIS commands in Truth and never budge
Always show love to the ones that hurt you as they just don’t know
That God is inside of you watching you and them grow
When the day comes that you get to see HIM face to face
Will be the day you realize the meaning of the word GRACE
Stay true to yourself and God; never waiver in your belief
In the end our God will wipe away all of your grief
We love you boys more than you can even know
But no love is better than the love that God shows

Messianic Judaism vs Christianity

According to Wikipedia Messianic Judaism is:

A term used generally describe someone who holds to the belief that Jesus is the Messiah and who embraces “the covenantal responsibility of Jewish life and identity rooted in Torah, expressed in tradition, and renewed and applied in the context of the New Covenant”. “Messianic Judaism” is a relatively new term, coined as recently as 1895 to help separate the practices of its followers from those of common Christianity as a whole, and in order to more closely align its faith with that of biblical and historical Judaism that was historical 1st century Christianity.

Often people want to label us here at Biblical Truth as Messianic Jews. Well notice it says that Messianic Jews are rooted in Torah (good) expressed in tradition (bad). That is the problem and always will be. TRADITIONS… There are commands in the Bible not traditions. We try to do the commands and eliminate any tradition.  Messianics adhere to the Talmud (Babylonian/Jerusalem Talmuds) which is oral and written traditions of Rabbis over the centuries but have faith in our Messiah. We as Christians know we are saved by Faith alone but then we as Christians squawk at the fact that a believer in the Messiah is following the Torah (divine instructions from Yahweh). Most of Christianity and most of Messianic Judaism follow traditions taught by man as time has gone on.  Both religions are stuck on following the traditions of men while believing and having faith in the Messiah. Messianic Jews follow Talmud (Jewish Traditions) and most Christians follow the Church (man’s tradition).

Dig in and look up if what you celebrate is commanded. You will be surprised. You will also find that everything Yahweh has told us to do has been thrown away since the end of the 1st Century. Speaking of 1st Century, notice in the opening statement it says that Biblical and historical Judaism was 1st Century Christianity.  Notice that it also says Judaism.  That is because Judaism (Talmud following) became the norm for the Tribe of Judah (Jews) and that is what Yeshua exposed.  Paul was a Jew but from the Tribe of Benjamin.  Actually more specifically he was a Pharisee.  He realized that we should not be following the Rabbinical Law (Talmud) but only follow Yahweh’s law (Torah).  Paul also had faith in the Messiah.  The oral and written traditions of Judaism (Talmud) are not to be followed but we are to follow HIS commands.

We are told by Yeshua we should never add or subtract anything from HIS commands (Matthew 5:18).  The Jews are famous for adding to HIS commands but at least they adhered to them from the beginning.  The Christians are famous for subtracting from HIS commands.  That leaves us to ponder the question, which is worse adding to them or subtracting from them?  In our opinion they probably are equally the same except when you subtract you never knew the Truth.  The Jewish religion doesn’t believe in our Messiah.  That is worse than anything.  In mainstream Christianity we have used what is called “Replacement theology”.  This is when man decides to replace commanded Holy Days with man’s tradition and this is the great failing of the Church and Christianity.  While the Jewish religion lacks faith in the Messiah, Christianity has taught to throw away most of HIS commands.

Our children need the TRUTH

As time goes on and generational curse after generational curse affects us, we have to come to the decision to search DEEP into the Bible and find out what HE commands us to do.  WE can break this curse.  WE have to stay steadfast in our devotion to following HIS commands.  As a Christian we already have the FAITH part covered.  The next step in the process is to start doing things HIS way as commanded.  WE teach our children the TRUTH.  It is very hard sometimes and there are days that go by when we have an empty feeling inside because we have chose to quit following in the traditions of men that we were so attached to.  The things we have been taught are very hard to let go of.  WE know how it is.  WE still struggle with it sometimes yet we see the feedback we get and the “CHANGE” our friends and family around us are making.  There is nothing more rewarding than somebody contacting us and letting us know they have started to celebrate a FEAST DAY because of the research we post.  Believe us when we tell you that if you are following us and starting to realize what we have been taught over the years from our “RELIGION” is not what HE intended causing you to make changes, you will be rewarded.  HE will hear you and you will know immediately you are on the right path.

We need to realize that we have to put down our “RELIGION” and pick up our BIBLES.  This is the only way we will find the TRUTH and from our experience it will TRULY set you FREE.   We can no longer allow our children to be misled.  We need to teach our children the path that HE commanded our ancestors should take.  We can make a difference.  When we start to make the changes necessary to please HIM it is expected that society will point fingers.  We promise you that others will say you are Jewish or a Legalist.  They will continue following their “Religion” and close their eyes and ears.  Remember we are not here to point fingers, we are here to plant seeds.  The seeds will then grow.  If you don’t think it’s possible, we have proof that it is.  We have very close friends and family that have never once spoke about our Messiah to us that have recently started asking questions and changing how they go about their walk with HIM.  It’s AMAZING and it’s happening right in front of us at this very moment in our lives.

The Tribe of Judah

We are often taught that doing things HIS way as commanded is Jewish. This includes but not limited to following the Feast Days, Dietary Law, and other commands/precepts we are often taught don’t apply to Christians. We have this short summary of who the Jews are and where they came from.

Abraham fathered Isaac then Isaac fathered Jacob. Jacob fathered 12 Sons of which each son led a Tribe. The 12 Tribes of Israel are the names of Jacob’s 12 Twelve sons. Almost every Christian has been taught that following anything out of the Old Testament is Jewish except Tithing (Giving money to the Church) which is one command the “CHURCH” teaches is still in effect.

The Tribe of Judah is where the religion of Judaism came from. The only thing Jewish about the 12 Tribes is the Tribe of Judah. Technically speaking the Tribe of Benjamin lost it’s identity and blended into the Tribe of Judah. The other 10 Tribes were not Jewish and even the Tribe of Judah wasn’ttribemap considered Jewish until around 250 BCE. ALL 12 Tribes followed in Yahweh’s commands. After King Solomon pissed off Yahweh for following after Ashtoreth, Yahweh then spread the Tribes across the world leaving The Tribe of Judah behind because of HIS devotion to David, Solomon’s father. As time went on the Tribe of Judah started to instill their man-made doctrine into HIS Torah/Law and teach it as scriptural much like Christianity has done today.

Recap: In the beginning all 12 Tribes followed HIS commands and precepts and one of those Tribes changed it over time. We now associate all the wrong doing of one Tribe called “Tribe of Judah” or Jews with every Tribe even though all the other Tribes did it HIS way. Remember if is wasn’t for the so called “Jews” we wouldn’t even know his promise. Most also associate anything done in a Biblical way like celebrating a Feast Day as Jewish. It would be the same as calling someone from Texas a Missourian. While we are all American we aren’t all the same just like all the Tribes that were Israeli were from one father but they weren’t all the same.

Other thoughts: There are some “technicalities” not mentioned but this is more of a “overview” of the Tribes. Technically it is well understood that the sceptre went to Judah and was handed down through the Jews. King David was from the tribe of Judah. All succeeding kings of David’s dynasty were of the House of David, tribe of Judah. Yeshua was born of the House of David and the tribe of Judah. Mosheh came from the Tribe of Levi which was scattered throughout all of the other Tribes. Many believe the Torah of Yahweh given to Mosheh is Jewish Law. This is impossible because Mosheh wasn’t from the Tribe that Judaism was born. Again, Mosheh was from the Tribe of Levi and they had NO inheritance but the other Tribes had to supply them with what they needed. This is where Tithing comes from. SO MUCH TO LEARN from the TRIBES yet most have never been taught it. If we understand HIS Tribes it helps us to understand what happened to HIS Torah. Interesting point to make is that in Revelations 7:5-8 John never mentions the Tribe of Dan in the 12,000 sealed from the 12 Tribes. Some speculate the Anti-Christ will come from that Tribe.

For the most part, most Christians believe they are just Gentiles. If you see our teachings, we show the word Gentile isn’t even a word in Hebrew. It was the Greek’s way of trying to translate “other” nations. The true word is Goy(singular) or Goyim(Plural) which means other nation(s). We are all descended from one of the twelve Tribes.

That doesn’t even matter. What matters is that once you have belief in our Messiah, you are then subject to HIS rules and regulations. Once you claim to have Faith in Yeshua, you are part of the House of Israel; part of the covenant. This in turn makes you part of HIS people which means we have to follow HIS laws.  To say it is Jewish to celebrate a Feast Day would be the same as saying it is Ruebenish, Ephraimish, Simeonish, Asherish, (all different tribes) etc… IF everybody would understand the Tribes they would see we have all been misled by believing that Yahweh doesn’t care whether or not we keep his Commands/Feast Days/etc… This is the “great falling” of Christianity in our opinion. Most believers are shown all sorts of false teachings about Paul’s letters to the Galatians, Romans, and Ephesians and taught that Paul struggled with the Torah, did away with it, and told us to not worry about people judging us for not doing any of it.

If ALL scripture is inspired/written by Yahweh how is it possible that Paul did away with anything. WE see time and time again that HE does not change and we also see that Yeshua live perfectly in Torah. HE was a Kosher Jew to the letter. HE taught us how to be Torah Observant and 70 years or so after he died they started teaching it all wrong again. In fact we are warned by (2 Peter 3:16).

A timeline of events: 722 BCE the nation of Judah was populated with Israelites from Judah, Bejamain, Shimeon, some of Levi, and many from all of the other tribes as well… While most of the Tribes were spread across the Globe, eventually the “JEWS” (Tribe of Judah) were put in Babylonian Captivity… Fast forward to about 250 BCE and this is where the Sadducees, Pharisees, and Rabinnical LAW began..167 BCE the Maccabees retake the Temple from Greco Syrian control. So looking at timelines, Rabinnical Law had existed for only 250+ years or so before the Christians starting teaching Christian law in the 1st century and it has existed for almost 2000 years of which both are leading us down the path of destruction according to the Scriptures.

Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread kept after Yeshua died

Have you ever wondered what the 1st Command Yahweh gave the children of Israel?  Well if you have, look no further.  It was the PASSOVER COMMAND and at the end of the instructions we are told this:

Exodus 12:14-15  “This day shall be for you a memorial day, and you shall keep it as a feast to Yahweh; throughout your generations, as a statute FOREVER, you shall keep it as a feast. 15 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.

The full command is also mentioned in Exodus 12:1-28, Leviticus 23:4-8, Numbers 9:1-14, Deuteronomy 16:1-8.

This is HUGE folks.  We have proof that HE commanded us to keep Passover and the Feast of Unleavened.

According to the scriptures, this method of keeping the “Passover” in memory of his death once a year was ordained by HaMashiach Yeshua himself.  Yahweh already condemned the keeping of the customs of the pagan holiday “Easter.” The leaders of the 1st Century Church put in place a theology and they have deceived their followers into worshipping at “Easter” instead of “Passover” and the “Feast of Unleavened Bread,” to commemorate the “death, burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”  This is absolutely heartbreaking to HIM.

Many are taught that Yeshua nailed the Old Testament commands to the cross.  If we are told by HIS Father, Yahweh, to do something FOREVER and HIS Son deleted it from the commands that would be a SIN.  In fact, it would be a sin to not celebrate it as commanded.  Let’s look one step deeper.  Matthew walked with Yeshua.  Here is a verse about Passover/Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Matthew 26:17  Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Yeshua, saying, “Where will you have us prepare for you to eat the Passover?”

Keeping this verse in mind we can set a sort of timeline.  We know they celebrated it before HIS crucifixion but did they celebrate after?  That brings us to this next timeline of events.  Paul, the most prolific writer in the Renewed Covenant, converted about 30+ years after Yeshua died.   While Paul never walked with Yeshua, he was taught by Yeshua again, 30+ years after Yeshua died.  Paul writes in several different occasions they were celebrating the Feast Days.  Here is one occasion:

Acts 20:5-6  These [people] went on ahead and were waiting for us at Troas, but we sailed away from Philippi after the days of Unleavened Bread, and in five days we came to them at Troas, where we stayed for seven days.

And yet more proof:

1 Corinthians 5:7-8  Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Yeshua, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Remember, the Church in Corinth were new converts to belief in Yeshua.  Before they converted they were pagans.  To stay in context we need to move back earlier in this chapter to:

1 Corinthians 5:It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father’s wife.

So Paul is telling a predominately pagan people to throw away their customs, sexual sins,  and follow in the way of Yahweh through belief in Yeshua.  In fact Paul mentions that men are sleeping with their mothers and that isn’t even allowed in pagan customs.  In this verse shown in bold (1 Corinthians 5:8) we are told to keep the Feast not with old leaven (sinning ways of the pagans) but with new leaven (Yahweh’s way through HIS son Yeshua).  Leaven represents sin.  It is saying that Yeshua makes us unleavened (blameless without sin) but we must follow in HIS Father’s commands Torah (in sincerity and TRUTH).  Many believe Paul is writing to Christians.  While they are becoming Christians they were once pagans and didn’t know Yahweh commands or better known as His “Torah“.  So Paul has to make them realize they have to put down their traditions, learn the Torah (HIS divine instructions) and know they are only saved because of Yeshua.
